Author and filmmaker Helena Norberg-Hodge is a pioneer of the local economy movement. She has been advocating the economics of personal, social, and ecological well-being for over 30 years. She founded Local Futures which works internationally, in both the North and South to encourage decentralized ways of living while studying the impacts of economic globalisation on both cultures as well as our psychological well-being.
